Catering & Event Planning Key Staff

Laura Bradigan started Laura's Catering in 2009 to provide catering and event planning services including weddings, corporate events, benefits, celebrity events, parties, and other events with a goal of customer service.

Laura began Laura’s Catering in December of 2008 from her experience with the very well known central Ohio catering company, Simply Nannette. It was that experience that Laura took with her to open her own catering company when Simply Nannette sold off its business to go into retirement. Laura’s initial mission was to create great food with a wonderful presentation; to create a unique experience that will have people talking. That simple mission has created success with her company. She has increased her clientele database over the past three years, including becoming an approved caterer/vendor for The Ohio State University and becoming the exclusive caterer for Brookshire Event and Banquet Center in Delaware, Ohio, which has been voted Best of Weddings on the well known wedding planning website, The Knot.

The following listed biographies are some of the key players at Laura’s Catering:

Alex Wise, Director of Marketing and Social Media

Alex came to Laura’s Catering as a recent graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a BS in marketing and minor in graphic design. He produces all marketing and promotional pieces for Laura’s Catering. He is also responsible for the management of the website and social media. In addition to working for Laura’s Catering, he also owns his own consulting business focused on graphic design and social media for growing businesses in the Columbus area. Alex has a background in customer service having held positions in both the restaurant industry and financial field. He is dedicated to producing results and maintaining excellent client relations.

Mark Lutz, Catering Executive Chef

Mark came to Laura’s Catering from the Conference Center at North Pointe. He has almost thirty years in the culinary field, most notably working for the Hyatt Regency downtown Columbus for twenty two years. With his work experience, he is accustomed to the preparation of food for a large number of events. He manages the operation of the catering kitchen and the culinary staff members. In addition, he has all appropriate certification through ServSafe. His love and passion for food is easily seen in the dishes he creates and his slogan is “Whatever the customer wants”.

Peggy Archer, Service Manager

Peggy has been with Laura’s Catering from the very beginning. She is the staff person responsible for packaging all deliveries. Her attention to detail is readily seen through her continuous commitment on getting the job done. Peggy hosts meetings with the staff on a weekly basis to determine the specifics of the following week’s events. Peggy feels communication is key to every successful event. She assists Laura with staffing and coordinates all delivery schedules. In addition, she orders all supplies.

Megan Krueger, Accounting Manager and Event Captain

Megan is originally from Omaha, Nebraska and has lived and worked in several other states including, Indiana and Massachusetts. She came to Laura’s most recently from Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and has an extensive background in the food and beverage industry. She started her career immediately out of high school working as a server. In a short amount of time, she had worked her way up the corporate ladder, being promoted to management positions while furthering her education in accounting. She is the go to person at Laura’s Catering; providing the staff with her vast knowledge of the industry. Megan has been described by many clients as being professional; detail oriented and an excellent person to oversee events.
